Our purpose

Welcome to GatedLead! We make implementing and maintaining Gated Content as easy as possible.

It has always been a pain to implement gated content to capture leads. So we scratched our own itch and solved the pain of maintaining and integrating sooo many tools just to get started with gated content.

With GatedLead you only need your existing website to start capturing leads from your content.

Why GatedLead exists

The core of GatedLead is nothing more than a form that triggers an email to be sent with a downloadable link to your lead (plus some technical magic).

GatedLead = Gated Content + Lead Capturing

GatedLead uses transactional email servers that provide the highest deliverability, and tracks download of your content to the single lead.

We take care of all the technical details such that you don't need to.

Nah. That sounds soooo simple! I could just build that myself! Right?...

In reality, it's not that simple to create let alone maintain gated content...

Without GatedLead you'll need to figure out how to:

  1. Design and implement a form on your website that collects all the info you need.

  2. Integrate with Zapier or Make to send automated emails once a lead submits your form.

  3. Upload your content and get a downloadable link. Idealy each lead should get her own unique link such that you can track who downloaded your content - and automate around it!

  4. Paste that link into an email and make sure that the link does not expire.

  5. Setup email automation that gets triggered when the form is submitted.

  6. Keep an eye on email deliverability such that all leads get the content they requested.

  7. Integrate with your CRM through Make or Zapier to add leads to your sales pipeline.

  8. Monitor your integrations to make sure leads are not lost 😨

That's alot of setup and integration, and frankly you'll never know if it failed (we've been there ourselves).
